Tokyo Station Gallery is proud to announce a retrospective exhibition tracing the meteoric career of Arimoto Tosio (1946-1985), an artist whose brilliance remains firmly embedded in public memory despite his early death. The exhibition will present the essence of Arimoto's creative genius through a display of some 170 items, including eighty-six important paintings ranging from graduation pieces executed in 1973 to works completed the year before his death in 1985, as well as a selection of drawings, prints and sculptures.
