Scandinavian Landscape Painting in the Nineteenth Century 2002/09/21 - 2002/11/10 Tokyo Station Gallery will be hosting an exhibit of landscape painting from the three Scandinavian countries of Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, nations that boast an abundance of natural beauty. Most of the 76 works in the exhibit come from the holdings of Nationalmuseum, Stockholm. They provide an overview of the styles of landscape painting that flourished in northern Europe in the 19th and early 20th century, as well as overall trends in Nordic art.
