This exhibit anticipates the 90th anniversary of the founding of the literary magazine Shirakaba by displaying 130 paintings of Ryusei Kishida, and his associates Kazumasa Nakagawa, Shohachi Kimura, Sadao Tsubaki, and other devotees. They were all inspired by the magazine and by its founder and spiritual leader Saneatsu Mushakoji as well by cultural figures, such as Naoya Shiga, Kikuo Kojima, Muneyoshi Yanagi, Yoshiro Nagayo, and Ikuma Arishima.
