Marino Marini (1901-1980) is a sculptor representing postwar Italy. He was influenced by ancient Mediterranean, Egyptian, Grecian and especially Etruscan art, because he came from Etruscan stock. This exhibition shows the full range of his diverse art through 120 pieces produced from the 1910s to 1960s. It focuses on 95 oil paintings , drawings and prints exhibited in Japan for the first time, as well as about 20 sculptures.
