Poetic Sentiments from His Journey

Hiroshige Utagawa is a well-known Ukiyoe artist, celebrated for his lyricism in portraying the lives of common people in Edo, and the seasons. Hiroshige's uniquely innovative construction, powerful lines and wealth of color greatly influenced modern painters in Europe. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of his birth, his most representative masterpieces including the three complete editions of the Tokaido Fifty Three Stations were presented.
