To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the friendship accord between Tokyo Central Station and Beijing Stations, this exhibition displayed 34 treasured Chinese paintings. This was the first occasion that these masterpieces have been exhibited abroad. They represent the elegant and beautiful world of today's large Chinese paintings, rooted in a 1500-year history. These Chinese painters express the integrated unity of poetry,calligraphy and painting.
