Posters developed in Europe and the USA on the basis of the cultures and printing technologies of a variety of periods. These exhibited posters were created after World War II from 1945 through 1990. A total of 140 posters selected by Alan Veille, the art critic, Steven Heller of the New York Times, under the supervision of graphic designers Milton Glazer and Yusaku Kamekura were presented along with 40 posters from Japan.
