Kei Sato was born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1918 and devoted himself to poetry and painting throughout his life exploring Japan. This retrospective presented more than 140 of his works, which reveal his free expression and emotion. His styles are sometimes bold but unpretentious and sometimes delicate.
