To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Tokyo Station Gallery, East Japan Railway Company commissioned a wide range of promising and well-established artists to paint under the theme of "Eastern Japan's Landscape or Customs" . More than 40 unique paintings showing scenery, folklore and history of local areas, people who live simply, and other subjects, were presented at this exhibition.
