17th Century Dutch Landscape Painting

This exhibition showed the varied development of 17th century Dutch landscape painting through the interplay between actual scenery and the imagination of the artist. Sixty-three oil paintings from artists such as Jan van Goyen and Jacob van Ruisdael, as well as 16 prints from artists such as Rembrandt, were displayed with the cooperation of the Netherlands Office for Fine Arts.
