This exhibition commemorated the centennial anniversary of the Eiffel Tower as a retrospective of the stormy life of designer Gustave Eiffel. Works of many artists using the symbolic iron tower of modern technology in their work were also exhibited. Various models, plans, paintings, etc., lent by the Societe Nouvelle d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel and the Musee National d'Art Moderne, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris were displayed.
