This was the opening exhibition at Tokyo Station Gallery. Among the works exhibited publicly for the first time were paintings from the collection of the East Japan Railway Company. Mt. Fuji with Clouds and Mt. Fuji with Cherry Blossoms by Taikan Yokoyama, which was donated to Tokyo Station soon after World War II, and Nishikie or color wood block prints from the collection of the Transportation Museum were among 66 works on view.
