Research in Transportation
To explore the social role of railways, the Foundation sponsors independent research into railway management, engineering, and the future of railways with the aim of nurturing new research and encouraging younger scholars.
Conserving Railway-related Documents and Materials
Historical records of social events have untold value for the future but they can be easily lost, damaged or mislaid so the Foundation is conserving and archiving as many records as possible for handing on to future generations.
Publishing Digital Reference Materials
The Foundation is using the excellent archive characteristics and simplicity of digital media to publish a useful and valuable record of its activities.
